Srushti began preparing for her UPSC examination in her third year of studying engineering. During her graduation she wondered if she would be content working in an engineering position. Eventually, she realised that civil service was what she loved and decided to pursue the field. The parents of her encouraged her to pursue civil service, and to pursue an opportunity to work in public service. She remained motivated and determined to become an IAS Officer.
